tough steak to mush
Here is the secret to turning tough steak almost into mush without using a crock pot.
- Take the steak and slice it up against the grain into about 3/16 inch thickness.
- Put it in a bag. Crush pineapple slices into the bag using a lemon squeezer.
- Put the crushed pineapple in the bag.
- Add enough bottled water to cover the ingredients.
- Seal the bag let it set for an hour.
- Pour the contents into a strainer. Rinse with water.
- Then put the meat and pineapple chunks into the skillet.
- Cook on medium for about 7 minutes. Until about half the juice is boiled away.
- Then pour off most of the liquid that's left and take out the pineapple chunks.
- Finish cooking with barbecue sauce or soy sauce or something.
- Don't overcook or it dries out.
